Welcome to Albania Pro Rent. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before signing a rental agreement or using our services.

1. Eligibility to Rent

To rent a vehicle from Albania Pro Rent, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle category)

  • Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months

  • Present a valid passport or national ID and a credit or debit card in the renter’s name

  • International travelers must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) if required in conjunction with their national license

2. Rental Duration and Vehicle Use

  • The minimum rental period is 72 hours(3 days). Late returns will incur additional charges.

  • Vehicles may only be driven by individuals listed in the rental agreement.

  • The renter agrees to use the vehicle solely for legal and personal/business purposes and not for off-road driving, racing, towing, or transport of illegal goods.

  • Mileage limitations and fuel policies (full-to-full or pre-paid fuel) will be outlined in the agreement.

3. Payment and Deposits

  • A security deposit is required before vehicle handover. The amount depends on the vehicle class and is held on your credit/debit card.

  • Full rental payment is due at vehicle pickup unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods: major credit cards, debit cards, and select mobile payment platforms.

  • Prices include VAT but may exclude additional fees (e.g., delivery, cleaning, out-of-hours service).

4. Insurance and Liability

  • All rentals include mandatory third-party liability insurance as per Albanian law.

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is available and may be included in your rate or offered as an optional upgrade.

  • In the event of an accident, theft, or damage, the renter must:

    • Notify Albania Pro Rent immediately

    • Fill out an accident report

    • Contact the police and obtain an official report if necessary

  • The renter may be liable for damages not covered by insurance, including negligence, driving under the influence, or unauthorized use.

5. Pickup and Return Policy

  • Vehicles are available for pickup and return at Tirana International Airport, city offices, or by prior arrangement at a hotel or custom location.

  • Renters must return the vehicle on time, clean, and in the same condition as delivered.

  • A cleaning fee may apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty or with odors (e.g., smoking).

  • Early returns do not qualify for partial refunds unless otherwise stated.

6. Cancellations and Modifications

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pickup may be eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Modifications are subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment.

  • No-shows (failure to collect the car) will be charged the full rental amount.

7. Cross-Border Travel

  • Vehicles may not be driven outside Albania without prior written authorization.

  • Cross-border travel (e.g., to Montenegro, Greece, Kosovo, or North Macedonia) requires advance approval and may incur an additional fee.

  • Unauthorized border crossing is strictly prohibited and may void insurance coverage.

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Renters are responsible for:

    • All traffic violations and toll fees

    • Refueling the car if the fuel policy requires it

    • Safe operation and securing of the vehicle

  • Loss of keys, documents, or license plates will incur additional replacement charges.

9. Company Rights

  • Albania Pro Rent reserves the right to:

    • Refuse service to any customer deemed unfit to drive

    • Substitute vehicles in case of mechanical issues or availability changes

    • Terminate the rental agreement for violations of these terms

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania.

  • In case of disputes, the parties will seek amicable resolution first. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Albanian courts.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal data according to our [Privacy Policy].

  • Data collected during the rental process is used solely for identification, communication, and legal compliance.
